Never Lose Faith

I was asked to photograph a memorial last week. It was the toughest shoot to date. From the stories I heard and the poem read Nicholas William Hand was a wonderful person then his life was cut short. By the end of my short time being there I felt like I had personally known him. His mother had his memeorial planned out to a t she had beautiful butterflies to be released, as if he was being released. She stayed strong through the whole memorial but I could tell that she missed him very much as did his father. I feel lucky to have been there and witnessed their strength. I am deeply sorry for your loss and know nothing will ever fill that hole. Here are some of the photographs from his memorial.
